Welcome to nysti.org, and 2008-2009 Season… a celebration of humanity, and as always, featuring exciting educational opportunities. Please consider taking advantage of the tremendous savings on our 3, 4, 5 and 6 show subscription packages.
We are a professional, educational regional theatre, and proud of our 30-plus year history of award-winning theatre for family audiences and our extensive education programs fro both schools and individuals. NYSTI’s mission includes a firm commitment to developing new plays and musicals, and throughout the years, we have produced forty-five premieres – most of which we have originated. Many of our works have continued on to other regional theatres, major performing arts centers, Off-Broadway and Broadway, been produced as audiobooks, and published by Samuel French, Inc.
We are dedicated to fostering international cultural exchange. NYSTI has performed in Moscow, London, Israel, Jordan, Italy, Canada, France, and Sweden, and we have welcomed companies and artists from those and many other countries.
