School Theatre Night: Honoring Theatre Educators and Students

NYSTI honors the educators and students who make theatre magic in schools. Designees will be recognized at a pre-show dessert reception, and receive 3 complimentary seats to the March 19 performance of Romeo and Juliet.

Designate a distinguished teacher, administrator or student (grade 8 and older) from your school today. Institute staff and interns will be in attendance to offer more details about our award-winning performances, classes, educator opportunities and internships.

How to participate:

1. Select a teacher, administrator or student (grade 8 or above) whose distinguished passion and dedication to school theatre is noteworthy.
2. Notify the designee in person, or by using an attached nomination letter. Select an appropriate letter from the following attachments:
   1. Educator nomination letter (.pdf format; Adobe Reader required)
   2. Student nomination letter (.pdf)
3. Receipients should contact Jessica Boshek at 518.274.3256 or by e-mail for reservations. Designees will receive a complimentary ticket and can invite two guests. Additional paid tickets can be added to the order when reservations are made.
4. Designees will be recognized at a pre-show reception on Friday March 19, 2010 at the Schacht Fine Arts Center, beginning at 6:30 PM. The show begins at 8:00 PM following the reception.
