From Cohoes & north
1. Take I-787 South to the 23rd St/Watervliet/Green Island exit. Turn right toward Watervliet.
2. Go to the second traffic light. Turn left onto 2nd Avenue (Rt. 32).
3. At next traffic light, turn left at Rt. 2 East, onto the Congress Street Bridge. Get into the right lane as you cross.
4. Take the Front Street exit ramp. Proceed straight off the ramp, crossing Division St. The parking lots are across Division St. on the left.
5. The rear of the Schacht Fine Arts Center is back across Division St. It is a brick building accessible via the wrought iron gate with a blue “NYS Theatre Institute” banner. Enter through the gate and down to the left.:: Top of Page
From Albany & south

From east of Troy
1. Take Rt. 7 (Hoosick Street) west.
2. Follow Rt 7 down Hoosick Street, passing between the bridge ramps to River Street.
3. Turn left onto River Street.
4. Follow River Street straight ahead to the large intersection with the lighted announcement sign. Bear right around the sign and motel.
5. At the second traffic light, bear right onto River Street. Continue past Monument Square to Front Street on the left.
6. Turn onto First Street, driving straight ahead through the Russell Sage Campus to Division Street.
7. Turn right onto Division Street; parking is on the left. The theatre is to the right on Division St., accessible through the wrought iron gate with a blue “NYS Theatre Institute” banner. Enter through the gate and down to the left.:: Top of Page
From Schenectady & west
1. Take Rt 2 (the Troy-Schenectady Road) east
2. Follow Rt 2 through Watervliet.
