After the first vote of the jury, Juror No. 8 stands alone for probing further into what appears to be an open and shut case of a teenaged defendant accused of killing his father. As the jurors revisit the case, tempers flare, assumptions are laid bare and each juror must face the specter of reasonable doubt. All the while, a young man’s life hangs in the balance.
